Peter Broderick – “It’s a Storm When I Sleep”
Glimmer, a split album by Mr. Broderick and Japanese artist Takumi Uesaka, was released last year on Cote Labo. They state this album’s concept is “to make the song for a quiet midnight”, and the track above is what I think of as the best representation of what they strived to achieve here, and in most cases did brilliantly. This is a beautiful, beautiful song. Give it a listen and take a look here for more info.
